hi doc,im 24 yrs of age and i’ve been struggling with these pimples thing since i was teenage year. i used many facial wash, creams, moisturizer before but it doesnt work so i stopped it and now i only use the cetaphil facial wash and nivea to moisturize my face. for now it isgetting better but my problem is acne marks is still there and nonstop pimples appearing on my face especially when i miss my monthly menstruation.

Yes I understand where you are coming from. The marks can be cleared quite easily with a Q-switch laser. The recurring pimples, you may want to consider the AGNES treatment.

I got a somewhat weird question. I’ve been reading up on the AGNES technology and what it exactly targets. It is detecting problematic sebaceous glands and destroying them. But what if, at the time when the patient undergoes his/her 1st AGNES treatment, he/she happens to not have too much major cystic breakouts but clearly has clogged pores around the problematic and acne prone area. How would you proceed then? As an acne patient sufferer, I would of course hope for more acne stricken sebaceous glands to be detected and eliminated but would that be possible to do so when at the time of treatment, it had not developed into a cyst/pimple on the surface of the skin. These cysts can be very cunning, appear elusive and crept upon you the next morning / minute.
I would still proceed on with the AGNES, and target the entire oil gland around the cystic breakout. No issues, this AGNES procedure is often done at a time when the breakout looks bad.
If it has not developed into a pimple yet, it is likely still congested and would be seem as a tiny comedone under the microscope. It would be targeted during that time as well.
